Our Shift Leaders are our ambassadors, trained to perform all of the duties performed by the Front of House members, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the Restaurant Manager's absence, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product preparation and delivery, customer service, restaurant maintenance, team management and other duties as required or assigned. Full induction and onboard training will be provided to bring you up to speed on our Boatyard brand and standards of service. External training will be offered to meet the need to become a Responsible Person (formerly Designated Official). We offer competitive rates of pay with share of tips (Gross earnings of between £15-16ph inclusive of basic rate £12ph, average hourly tips and rolled up holiday pay) Shifts. The restaurant is open 5 days a week (we open 6 days during the spring/summer months). We have 2 shift patterns covering daytime lunches and evening dinners. Ideally, shift leaders must be available to work any combination of daytimes/evenings and weekends, though we can offer flexibility when planning rotas should you have particular available days/times.
