| Notes | LV Group are looking for a Maintenance Support Worker to work as part of an integral Maintenance Team across our care homes in the Isle of Man, to ensure that the maintenance of all buildings and equipment used is carried out to a high standard whilst ensuring the quality of life for the home's residents are not adversely affected by building or maintenance works. Key Responsibilities include;- Ensure any maintenance issues are reported and addressed in a timely and appropriate manner. Route maintenance/replacement (e.g. decoration, carpeting, furnishing, garden care) as planned, on a regular basis. A record will be kept of this plan indicating whether the required works have taken place. If the works have not been carried out, a note of the reason for this will be made. Where appropriate, contracts will be put in place to ensure that routine maintenance/servicing is carried out. With a fully qualified electrician, carry out a full electrical installation when required. Participate in evacuation procedures to ensure the safety of occupants, visitors and staff of the Homes. Work with external contractors on specific maintenance projects of the Homes. Ensure that residents, visitors and staff are protected from potential hazards that may result from building or maintenance works.
