| Notes | Bradda View Nursing & Residential Home are looking for a Head Chef to be responsible for menu development, creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus for our residents, to a high standard. The Head Chef will provide oversight and management for the staff within the kitchen at the Home. Key Responsibilities include;- Developing a cost-effective budget and menus for residents which contributes to a healthy and balanced diet. Prepare a range of meals and snacks for Service Users, being aware of and be able to cater for a range of diets, including Service Users with specific dietary requirements. In-conjunction with the Health Care staff, ensure that food is provided to the correct consistency for Service Users with swallowing difficulties, ensuring that the food is appealing for the Service User. Ensure facilities are available and for Service Users to be able to access drinks and snack in-between meals. Oversight and management of kitchen staff, to include resource management, interviewing, supervisions, appraisals, and development of staff. Stock ordering, as and when required.
