| Notes | Bradda View Nursing & Residential Home are looking for Mental Health Nurses to be responsible for providing high-quality care to Service Users, in-line with the highest regulatory standards. Reporting to the Deputy/Registered Manager of the Home, you will also be responsible for overseeing the care provided by our Health Care Assistants. Key Responsibilities include;- Assess residents by discussing with them regarding their mental health issues/dementia complexities and draw up the best possible Care Plan(s) to accommodate this. Build a robust and excellent relationship with residents and their families by building trust. Provide treatment to residents and ensure medications are correctly administered. Work to understand the source(s) of residents' disorders. Assist residents to overcome their mental health problems. Assist residents to cope or manage their emotions effectively. Conduct one-to-one therapy sessions and/or group sessions with residents. Prepare residents' records and maintain records effectively. Monitor residents' progress with their families. Conduct risk assessments on residents.
