| Notes | Bradda View Nursing & Residential Home are looking for Kitchen Assistants to be responsible for undertaking food preparation tasks, as directed by the Chef/Head Chef, preparing ingredients, and preparing simple dishes. Kitchen Assistants will also be responsible for servicing food to residents, cleaning and tidying workstations and equipment, for restocking the store room and cold room, in accordance with the Chef/Head Chef's instructions, for bringing ingredients into the kitchen and to ensure food is packed and stored in accordance with all applicable Food Hygiene and Safety Regulations. Key Responsibilities include;- Prepping ingredients for dishes. Washing and slicing fruit and vegetables. Cooking ingredients according to directions received from the Chef/Head Chef. Keeping all pots, pans and kitchen utensils, clean and in order. Managing store rooms and cold rooms. Preparation of residents' food trays and trollies.
