Notes Our client seeks a temporary Administrative Officer to join their team on a temporary basis for approximately 2-months. Role Profile: Processing a range of applications in accordance with relevant regulations and Departmental procedures, including preparation of bespoke correspondence, assessing eligibility and maintenance of relevant database systems entries and other records. Key Responsibilities: Out of catchment area requests. Primary School accommodation hiring and letting. Pupil suspension appeals applications. Bursary and scholarship applications. Endowment applications. Home to School Transport applications Home Education Register. Education Advisory Services general admin Process a range of invoices in accordance with Financial Regulations, including financial calculations, income reconciliation checks and issuing overdue reminder notices, including: Student Awards tuition fee invoices. Disabled Student Allowance invoices. Primary School lettings invoices. Education Advisory Services invoices. Daily review and reply/redirection of routine enquiries via the Department's email enquiry inboxes. Answering the phone and dealing with queries proactively and professionally. Cover and back-up secretarial, telephone, reception, postal and other corporate support services through key operational periods. Assist with the rollout and delivery of new online services offerings as applicable. Key Skills and Experience. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask whilst delivering tasks to agreed timescales. Able to self-motivate, prioritise and to meet deadlines with minimum supervision. Demonstrate high levels of proactivity and adaptability. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Work to a high degree of accuracy and pay close attention to detail. Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Makes considered decisions. Able to stay calm and focused under pressure. Reliable and flexible in approach to work. Highly motivated and conscientious. Good interpersonal skills and a team player. Can manage difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
