Notes | Job Description: We are actively seeking a Database Engineer who is adept in MySQL, with a proven track record in scaling databases, mastering replication, and optimizing SQL queries. Your role will be instrumental in enhancing database performance, ensuring scalability, and maintaining high availability of our database services. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement robust MySQL database systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and high-availability. Administer, monitor, and maintain MySQL databases, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability. Develop comprehensive strategies for scaling databases in line with data growth and application demands. Implement and manage database replication, backup, and recovery processes. Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for maximum efficiency and speed, reducing latency and resource consumption. Conduct regular database performance tuning and capacity planning. Ensure the security of database systems through rigorous access controls, encryption, and other security measures. Collaborate with development teams to optimize database operations in relation to application performance. Proven experience in implementing database sharding strategies for large-scale systems.
