| Notes | Department: Operations. Location: Douglas. The contracted hours for this role are- Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Saturday 8am - 12noon (on rota). About Us. Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers and colleagues. We sell building materials so there will be an element of manual handling. Reasonable adjustments can be made if you need them. Oversee and manage all aspects of stock control, including receiving, storing, and issuing. Implement and maintain stock control procedures to minimise stock loss and damage. Assist with loading company delivery vehicles. Assisting with our branch network and suppliers. General housekeeping. Any other store or yard duties as requested by Manager / Supervisor. You. Our customers expect excellent service, but they also appreciate a friendly rapport. You should be a team player who can collaborate effectively, resourceful, and enthusiastic. While previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial, full training will be provided. Relevant product knowledge or a genuine interest in Construction and DIY is advantageous.
