Notes Our Client seeks a Head of Procurement to join their team. Role Profile: Reporting to Group CFO the Head of Procurement will have a wide remit across several critical areas of the business. Procurement, Facilities & Fleet. Key Responsibilities: Procurement. Accountable for the Procurement function within the Group providing strategic direction. Accountable to always uphold and maintain the Group Procurement Policy. Accountable for all commercial contract negotiation working with stakeholders ensuring protection for the Group. Accountable for RFP processes and control ensuring supplier selection is open, honest and transparent. Provide support to internal legal function on commercial contracts. Accountable to ensure that contracts are filed, signed by all parties and are easy to find. Accountable for strategic suppliers across the Group ensuring that the procurement team play a key role within their island units. Accountable for the Inventory of the Group, ensuring that the Inventory Manager is aligned at all times with the Group requirements. Accountable for the Conflict of Interest Register ensuring that conflicts are approved and placed on file. Lead the BAU procurement across the Group. Ensuring that any training is identified alongside support to the team members. Accountable to ensure that all travel arrangements for staff are aligned to the Group Travel and Expenses Policy. Ensuring that the procurement leads within the islands are following policy and reporting any issues. Develop, manage, and control the procurement budget ensuring monthly reporting against budget. Be responsible for upholding the Group Vehicle Policy, which includes purchasing of new vehicles when required, appointing service agents and maintenance. Be accountable to support the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) KPIs and audits for supply chain. Be accountable for the development and implementation of sustainable procurement process to promote continual improvement in ESG performance for supply chain. Be supportive of the team to manage the facilities provider across the islands. Be supportive of Health and Safety ensuring that you work with the Head of H&S. Be accountable for lease negotiations, rent reviews and renewals with internal legal. Support the business in planning, designing and implementation of minor building changes including any office layout requirements. Conduct all sublet reviews and support the business in this activity to support cost reductions. Key Skills & Experience: Essential requirements D365 - Dynamics Operations and Finance - this is a key requirement. Commercial background - some level of contract deals. Manage step change and be able to challenge the everyday. Manage a team Health and Safety. Complying with and adhering to accepted standards and procedures. Where appropriate, taking responsibility for workplace hazards/risks you identify and communicated to management. Undertaking regular reviews of workplace risks/hazards that are present in your work. When, and if, necessary, participate in the investigation of accidents/incidents according to procedures. Undertaking appropriate and effective staff training when required or necessary.
