| Notes | We are seeking an experienced Machinist. Role Summary/ Essential Responsibilities-Working as part of a team within a manufacturing cell to manufacture aircraft landing gear components to aerospace tolerances and standards. Required to undertake all of the tasks in the cell to manufacture a component from various materials including titanium and aluminium alloys. This includes: Setting and operating CNC milling/ turning & EDM machines. Checking and verifying own work. Part marking, manual broaching, lapping & cleaning of components. First line maintenance, calibration of machines. Qualifications/ Desired Characteristics Experience in: Operating and setting machining centres. Operating and setting CNC lathes. Operating and setting Wire/ Die sinker EDM. Experience with Mazak, Fanuc, Okuma & Mori Seiki controls. The use of CMM equipment & manual measuring equipment. Use of tool measuring/ setting equipment. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principals. Role Requirement: Ability to work with minimal supervision while delivering targets. Willing to work overtime when necessary. Tenacious can-do attitude.
