| Notes | Our client seeks a Senior Accountant to join their team. Role Profile: The accountant will work as a member of the Isle of Man accounting team to support all aspects of the finance and control function. In addition they will provide support within the team for daily workflow and supervision of some processes and team members where needed. Key Responsibilities: Monthly preparation and posting of the trade gross margin. Prepare various schedules that support financial statements in accordance with monthly deliverables list. Assist in the month end review process of various financial statement accounts. Monthly balance sheet review across all offices including mini audits. Ad hoc analysis as requested by Group Financial Controller based on various financial statement account movements and or trends, or other financial information. Other special projects and assignments, as and when required. Processing and authorising payments Assist with statutory reporting including tax and regulatory compliance for IOM managed entities Review and approval of purchase, sales, and office invoices to ensure correct allocation and existing. Assist with the co-ordination and preparation of Internal and External Audit information. Back up support for all invoice and payment inputting and receipt allocation Key Skills and Experience: Recognised accounting qualification, CA, ACCA, ACA, CPA. Any US GAAP exposure would be beneficial. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team. Ability to work flexibly to strict time deadlines. Some people supervisory experience and skills required.
