Notes Our client seeks a New Business Administrator to join their team Role Profile: Our client is looking for a hardworking individual to join the team and provide high quality services to clients and introducers. The Onboarding team work collaboratively with Business Development, Risk and Compliance colleagues to ensure processes meet all relevant internal and regulatory policy and procedural requirements, whilst providing a frictionless and efficient service to clients and introducers. Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for initial vetting of new business applications and completion of the account opening process, to include individual, corporate, trusts and complex structures. Assessment and validation of documentation provided as part of the onboarding process to ensure a clear understanding of the client relationship which will be recorded with detailed rationale. The completion of high-quality annual high-risk reviews for all client types and introducers of business that satisfy regulatory requirements. You will be required to conform to the Company's AML procedures and guidelines at all times. You will be required to work on a variety of projects that deliver service, create capacity and ensure control effectiveness within the team. You may, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature within your capabilities in other teams, as requested by your line manager. At all times the Groups values should be at the heart of everything and consistency of evidence of adherence to the values will be a key aspect of the role. Key Skills and Experience: Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) processes. When applicable, collect and document evidence of suspicious transactions using own initiative to determine if escalation or follow up is required. Understand and apply client risk assessment standard methodology, identifying and recommending any incidences where standards could be challenged based on a structured, thought out risk-based approach. Up-to-date knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory standards and requirements. Up-to-date knowledge of AML/CFT transactional activity regulatory standards and requirements. Ability to validate and verify Source of Wealth using independent sources to do so when applicable. Ability to validate and verify Source of Funds (initial and on-going) using independent sources to do so. Applies knowledge to conduct the onboarding new business risk assessment with due regard to regulatory requirements and quality standards set by the regulator and internal policies and procedures. Articulate and communicate with fact and confidence to clients and internal stakeholders regarding deficiencies identified as part of the onboarding new business take on process. Ability to document in a clear and structured manner suspicions and or escalations identified while in the course of reviewing onboarding new business documents.
