Notes Our client seeks a Senior Compliance Officer/MLRO to join their team Role Profile: To act as MLRO to licenced gaming companies and provide compliance support to gaming companies. Working within the compliance team, you will be working within a busy, fast-paced trust and corporate services team, across a diverse, wide-ranging array of clients ranging from start-ups through to publicly listed companies. Key Responsibilities: Ensure business compliance with all relevant regulatory codes, licence requirements and legislation. Identify development needs within the business and ensure any requirements are communicated and implemented in a timely manner. Be one of the main points of contact with regulatory bodies such as the Isle Man Gambling Supervision Commission and establish relationships with key individuals in relation to regulatory compliance matters. To act as the MLRO as required and to ensure sufficient training and cover tor the MLRO roles is provided as needed. Respond to queries and information requests from the Gambling Commissions and ensure accurate regulatory returns and submissions are provided. Provide day to day support to all internal and external stakeholders on any issues around any new opportunities, compliance, and regulation. Develop regular monitoring procedures and practices to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal systems. Be responsible for Safer Gambling obligations, AML, EDD, and other compliance related requirements. Ensure the relevant KPls and metrics are maintained, updated, and monitored with timely and accurate reports. Review customer accounts to ensure effective controls and operations are consistently followed by the operational teams. Support the Legal team with any new licence applications. Key Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a similar role. You will hold a relevant compliance qualifications. Excellent communications skills.
