| Notes | DEVOPS ENGINEER | ref.MF91 Apply: https://mckenziefox.com/jobs/devops-engineer-douglas-isle-of-man/1588-1/ An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our clients growing team as a DevOps Engineer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Playing a key role in streamlining the software development life cycle from inception to deployment. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Previous experience within a DevOps position using cloud providers such as AWS and Azure. Solid understanding of database management with MS-SQL. Scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, CMD & Bash. Development skills for automating tasks using runtimes such as Python/.Net/Nodejs (Python preferred). Experience developing applications with .NET and .NET Core, using C#. Experience with Containerization and Orchestration such as Docker & Kubernetes. Experience with IaC, such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. Experience with CI / CD Pipeline Automation. Experience with authentication protocols such as SAML, and OAuth (org uses OKTA). Experience with message brokers would be advantageous (Kafka, RedPanda, RabbitMQ, NIFI). Understanding of core AWS and Azure services. Experience with multiple operating systems such as Windows and Linux. Basic understanding of Network topology.
