General Payments

The General Payments service allows you to make a number of different payments to Customs and Excise. Anyone with an Online Services account can use this service without enrolment. To use:

• Log into your Online Services account
• Select "Customs & Excise" from the menu
• Choose the "General Payments" service
• Select the type of payment you wish to make
• Carefully complete all mandatory fields in the form that appears, and as many optional fields as you can
• Click either :
  • Proceed to Basket to add the payment to your basket and display the shopping basket page.
  • Add to Basket to add the payment to your basket and stay on the same page
• You can add as many payments as you like to your basket. If you have enrolled to other VAT services, you can also make payments with those services at the same time.
• You can return to your payment basket at any time using the "Payment Basket" menu item.
• When you're done, select the "Proceed to Checkout" button.
