Select the required vat return period from the list. Click the period which is a hyperlink to the vat return.
To complete your vat return.
Select the required vat return period from the list which has status "return due this month" or "overdue return". The vat returns which are awaiting submission are colour coded. If RED, the vat returns are overdue. If GREEN, the vat returns are available for completion this month. If BLACK, the vat returns are not yet due. Click the period which is a hyperlink to the vat return.
Partially completed vat returns
Once you have partially completed your vat return details, it is possible to save this data and to return to this screen to complete and submit it at a later date. The tick box indicator in the partially completed vat return column indicates that data has been saved on the vat return prior to its submission. If there is no tick present, there is no part completed data saved.
