Apply for a Manx Entry Permit

Travel to the Isle of Man for non-Isle of Man residents who are not fully vaccinated is currently restricted. This application process is for non-Isle of Man residents who are not fully vaccinated wishing to travel to the island for compassionate or contractual reasons.

If you are an Isle of Man resident then you do not need to complete a Manx Entry Permit Application and should complete a Vaccination Exemption and/or a Landing Card depending on your circumstances.

If you are a non-Isle of Man resident and have completed a full course of a qualifying COVID-19 vaccination you do not need to register for a Manx Entry Permit, please register for a vaccination exemption. Please see the Isle of Man Government Covid-19 website at https://covid19.gov.im/ for further details.

If you are a non-Isle of Man resident and you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the 180 days prior to travelling to the Isle of Man and have not travelled outside of the Common Travel Area in the 10 days prior to your arrival you do not need to register for a Manx Entry Permit, please register for a immunity exemption. Please see the Isle of Man Government Covid-19 website at https://covid19.gov.im/ for further details.

As part of this application process you will be required to complete a declaration confirming if you have travelled, or plan to travel, within the Common Travel Area or the rest of the world, within the 10 days before you enter the Isle of Man.

In addition you will also need to complete a landing card and health declaration within 48 hours prior to arrival to the Isle of Man.

As this application process is for non-Isle of Man Resident who are not fully vaccinated and do not have natural immunity you will be required to self-isolate upon your arrival to the Isle of Man. The length of this isolation period will be dependent on if you have travelled within the Common Travel Area or to the rest of the world in the 10 days prior to arriving in the Isle of Man. The length of isolation will also depend on if you opt in for testing. Please see the Isle of Man Government COVID-19 website at https://covid19.gov.im/ for further details. Isolation monitoring checks will occur to ensure compliance, both by phone and in person.
