Travel in to the Isle of Man is currently restricted. However, Isle of Man residents can register to enable non-essential return travel to the Isle of Man. There is also provision for non-Isle of Man residents to travel to the island under certain circumstances.
This application process is for Isle of Man residents, and non-Isle of Man residents wishing to travel to the island for compassionate or contractual reasons. If you have completed a full course of a qualifying COVID-19 vaccination you do not need to register for a Manx Entry Permit, please register for a vaccination exemption. Please see the Isle of Man Government Covid-19 website at https://covid19.gov.im/ for further details.
You will be required to complete a declaration confirming if you have travelled, or plan to travel, outside of the Common Travel Area or to a Green or Amber list country, within the 10 days before you enter the Isle of Man.
In addition you will also need to complete a landing form and health declaration within 48 hours prior to arrival to the Isle of Man.
You will be required to self-isolate upon your arrival to the Isle of Man unless you meet certain criteria. The length of this isolation period will be dependent on if you have travelled from, or through, any country outside of the Common Travel Area or to a Green or Amber list country in the 10 days prior to arriving in the Isle of Man, whether you opt in for testing, or whether you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please see the Isle of Man Government COVID-19 website at https://covid19.gov.im/ for further details. Isolation monitoring checks will occur to ensure compliance, both by phone and in person.
