| Notes | Mooinjer Veggey Nursery based in St. Johns Primary School is currently looking for a friendly, caring and motivated Bank Nursery Assistant to join the Mooinjer Veggey team providing occasional cover for staff absences. Ideally we are looking for someone who is level 3 qualified, but applications from level 2 and unqualified people with the right skills/experience will also be considered. We need someone who is flexible and able to work from 8.30a.m. to 4p.m. on an occasional basis. It is expected that there will be at least 4 hours available on a weekly basis later in the year in addition to the occasional cover. Our aim is to create a warm and friendly setting and provide a positive, safe, happy, and nurturing approach to childcare. The children in our care receive stimulation and develop from our ethos of a play-based approach to learning through positive experiences. You will need to be confident, caring and most importantly passionate about childcare. You will be a committed, professional, organised, flexible, and responsible Nursery Assistant who is able to use their own initiative and work as part of a team. Mooinjer Veggey is an educational charity (no. 793) which exists to promote knowledge and use of Manx Gaelic to children from early years upwards. There is no requirement to be able to speak Manx for this role, but it would be an advantage if you are interested in the Manx language and culture and willing to learn some key words and phrases in Manx as well as some songs and rhymes.
