Notes Our client seeks an Infrastructure Performance Analyst to assist their team on a 3-year fixed contract. Role Profile: You will be responsible for the end to end performance of the end to end process to protect the customer experience, minimise cost and risk of system failure. Critical customer facing processes such as installation, billing and PAYG are dependent upon the successful management of these assets. There will be a requirement for some element of flexible working, including out of hours support Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an end-to-end view of the infrastructure performance. Including for example, installation success and speed, and performance. Drive improvement/optimisation of infrastructure to reduce install times/failure rates, improve read performance, reduce asset returns etc. Identify issues/risks associated with new and existing components and develop remediation plans to address. For example, identifying issues with specific devices or combinations and fixing/quarantining stock. Engage with external partners and industry service providers to understand and address issues and risks in the system. Ensure issues flagged by 3rd parties about issues created are appropriately prioritised and addressed. Responding to emails querying data flows. Liaising with third parties and key stakeholders regarding data quality, including suppliers and internal departments. Data collection and production of KPI's necessary for monthly reporting. Develop understanding and lead development to ensure that the system benefits can be delivered. Responsibility for change management co-ordination affecting the IT infrastructure. Where necessary raise and receipt Purchase Orders with suppliers and provide financial analysis of project performance as appropriate Key skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent at Grade C or above, to include Mathematics and English. Appropriate IT qualification. Ideally with an understanding of end to end processes. Able to develop an understanding of end-to-end processes and inter relationships (in particular with regard to asset management and installation)Strong analytical skills, able to turn data in to insight and to spot trends, complete root cause analysis to identify issues/improvement opportunities. An analytical background, with ability to produce clear and concise analysis & insights to enable clear decision-making. IT infrastructure awareness i.e. an understanding of servers, datacentres, firewalls etc. Highly numerate with high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience of working across a wide group of stakeholders. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Experience / knowledge of SharePoint, Navision, Business Central 365 and MS Office would be preferred. Strong team player, with a proactive, flexible can do attitude.
