Notes Our client seeks a Bookkeeper/Administrator to join their team. Role: You will be responsible for a number of duties, primarily in cash transaction processing, book-keeping, VAT returns and general maintenance of accounting records, which are essential for the efficient operation of the accounting function. Further, you will be required to liaise with the external registered agent in order to assist with all aspects of company secretarial/administration i.e. company incorporation/dissolution, maintenance of statutory books & registers, dealing with KYC enquiries, preparation of transaction documentation packs for Directors (including drafting of minutes where appropriate) with the assistance of external advisers where relevant. The role also includes an element of general office management tasks. Key Responsibilities: Managing cash transactions & transfers via online banking software and maintenance of cashbooks. Reconciliation of bank accounts and intercompany loan accounts. Posting of transactional activity to our in-house accounting software packages. Filing of accounting records. Preparation of daily cash reports. Completion of VAT returns. Assistance with quarterly management reporting. Raising of internal & external invoices. Debtor management. Incorporation & dissolution of companies. Preparation of board meeting documentation. Completion & filing of regulatory/annual returns. Maintenance of KYC records in respect of shareholders and providing the same to external parties. Provide assistance to other colleagues with general administrative matters Key Skills & Experience: AAT qualified or significant work-experience in book-keeping. Methodical. Attention to detail essential. Hard-working, with a high regard for confidentiality and discretion due to the sensitive nature of certain large-scale transactions undertaken by the Group. Confident, although willing and able to act on instruction and ask for guidance when necessary. Company secretarial experience would be beneficial although not essential - however an enthusiasm to develop skills in this area would be a positive attribute.
